Developing a Resource Allocation Approach for Resource-Constrained Construction Operation under Multi-Objective Operation

In the construction industry, it is of great importance for project managers (PM) to consider resource allocation arrangement problem based on different perspectives. this situation, management resources in becomes a challenge. Generally speaking, there are many objectives that need be optimized conflict with each other, including time, cost, and energy consumption (EC). This paper proposed multi-objective optimization framework quantum genetic algorithm (QGA) obtain best trade-off relationship among these goals. The allocated activity would eventually determine its execution EC, complexed time-cost-energy finally generated due correlations between activities. QGA was performed find combination EC optimal scheme under state. process simulated BIM check rationality mode. An industrial plant office building China presented as an example illustrate implementation model. results show method could effectively reduce 7% 17% 21% consumption. developed model expected help PMs solve limited allocation.
